Steve Letarte relied on critical leadership principals in the pit box and in preparing teams for some of NASCAR’s brightest stars and biggest races. The former crew chief will share those principals and highlight colorful characters and experiences from 20 years on the NASCAR circuit when he delivers a keynote presentation at the 2023 B2W User Conference.

Letarte accumulated 15 wins during his 10 years as a crew chief in NASCAR’s premier series, including a 2014 victory in the pinnacle of stock car events, the Daytona 500.

Performance Driven will be the theme for the 22^nd annual B2W User Conference slated for March 10-12 at the Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa in Las Vegas.

Letarte’s journey into the world of racing began at the age of 16 when he started working at Hendrick Motorsports. He worked his way up through the ranks at the team and was promoted to crew chief at the age of 25, making him one of the youngest crew chiefs in the history of the sport. As a dynamic, skillful leader, Letarte served as the NASCAR premier series crew chief for four-time championship driver Jeff Gordon, and NASCAR’s twelve-time most popular driver Dale Earnhardt Jr.

After stepping down from the pit box following the 2014 NASCAR season, Letarte joined the NBC Sports team to serve as a television analyst for the network’s motorsports programming. Letarte commentates NASCAR races aired on the NBC networks, which have a total viewership of more than 80 million households annually. Letarte has also partnered with several iconic companies throughout his career including, STP/Spectrum Brands, Sunoco, Coca-Cola, Goodyear, Wendy’s, and NASCAR Digital Media Group.

In 2018 Letarte added author to his distinguished career with the release of his book, Leading the Way, which focuses on Letarte’s four-year tenure as crew chief for Dale Earnhardt Jr. and the role Letarte played in rebuilding the popular driver’s confidence while leading his team back to victory lane.  Letarte highlights the leadership principles he embraced, and he continues to motivate employees during his keynote speeches for local, national and international companies.
