The highlight of the September conference in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania was leadership lessons learned from the battle of Gettysburg, coupled with battlefield visits to the actual locations. The Gettysburg Leadership Institute provided excellent facilitation of this. Construction specific content was kicked off by former CFMA national chairman and current B2W industry advisor Herb Brownett. Herb discussed what the role of a construction CFO should be, with a focus on strategic thinking and planning. B2W regional sales director Mike Burns also attended.
Immediately following the Mid-Atlantic Conference, the biannual Buckeye Conference was held in Toledo, Ohio. Legendary baseball manager Jim Leyland was the keynote speaker. Entertaining and colorful stories from his Major League career enhanced his presentation on leadership and motivation skills. B2W software was represented by industry advisor Herb Brownett.

AGC/CFMA National Conference
Herb Brownett again represented B2W Software, along with regional sales manager Michelle Winder at this excellent annual conference in November. A wide range of relevant topics with excellent speakers was covered over two and a half days in Las Vegas.
