Efficiency, Uptime and Cost Benefits at Severino Trucking

Ron Severino gave Skip Brownell a specific and critical goal when he brought him on board as shop manager at Severino Trucking in late 2018.

Brownell was charged with improving shop efficiency and reducing equipment downtime with the implementation of B2W Maintain for the highway construction, sitework and utility contractor headquartered in New Hampshire. Just over a year later, the numbers prove that he is succeeding.

Emergency repairs have been cut in half across a fleet that includes close to 300 assets. Work order documentation and equipment inspections have quadrupled. Maintenance costs and downtime, which was previously not measured, are down too, and overall shop efficiency is way up, according to Brownell.
